This course distils training and knowledge gathered over 40 years in the cleaning and proofing of textiles, timber, and much more. It's estimated that 820,000 tonnes of flame retardant chemicals are sold in the UK annually. Most of this is applied during manufacturing under controlled conditions. While anyone can buy retrospective flame retardant sprays, very few people know how to apply these chemicals correctly. We hope to change that, empowering you with the right knowledge and skills.
We offer comprehensive two day courses that cover most types of applications as well as one day industry specific courses. The latter is aimed at costume makers, florists, textile cleaning professionals.
